Property of a lady - Royal interest - a quantity of books & ephemera relating to the Royal Family, including Order of Services of the Lying-in-State of the late King George VI at Westminster Hall (11th February 1952), and the Funeral and the Burial of the late King, a blue leatherbound copy 'Marriage of Her Royal Highness The Princess Elizabeth and Lieutenant Philip Mountbatten, Royal Navy, List of Wedding Gifts, St. James's Palace', a red cloth bound copy 'The Coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II , The Form and Order of The Service, 2 June 1953', and SMITH, H. Clifford - 'Buckingham Palace, Its Furniture, Decoration & History' - Country Life, nd. circa 1930, in blue cloth; together with a 1937 commemorative Royal Worcester porcelain portrait relief roundel, modelled by Richard Garbe R.A., in fitted case; and a framed print of the late Queen (a lot). Provenance - the present vendor's godfather was H.R.H. Prince Philip The Duke of Edinburgh, and the father of the present vendor was equerry to Prince Philip.
