A beautiful antique Irish made oak cased mantel clock. The clock face features a roman numeral dial with gilt brass ormolu mounts. This beauty was made by the Ganter Bros., a watch and clockmaking company on South Great Georges Street, Dublin, from the 1850's. The Ganter Brothers are credited as the first clockmakers in Ireland.
