The barrel and incomplete actions of a 5 shot 120 bore hand rotated percussion boxlock sidehammer pepperbox pistol, barrels 3", the frame engraved with scrolls and signed on the top strap in flowing script "J B Welch Ban..." (the owner ?). Basically GC (dark patina with some pitting, butt, hammer, mainspring and ends of frame straps missing); a percussion alarm pistol, barrel 4" with B'ham proofs.
