A Bardin 12 inch terrestrial globe, 'The New Twelve Inch British Terrestrial Globe, Representing The Accurate Positions Of The Prince of Pal Known Places Of The Earth From The Discoveries Of Captain Cook And Subsequent Circumnavigators To The Present Period with Corrections & Additions To 1829. Manufactured T M Bardin in Salisbury Square London, supported on a brass meridian ring, on a mahogany stand with a tripod base, 86 cm high

More Information

From a local deceased estate, probably bought by the client in a restored state, the globe is generally good with no major issues, the paper printed rim with months and zodiac signs has four holes drilled in it, not really certain what these are for, and where the meridian ring sits at the top of the tripod base there is a large hole which I wouldn't necessarily expect to see
