A 19th Century French ormolu/gilt metal and biscuit porcelain mantel clock on a slate base, the base with cherub and palmette design, with animal paw feet, the bisque modelled after a maiden and sleeping angel, both flanking the floral enamel Arabic numeral dial with inner date ring signed 'A Paris', having a third calendar hand, movement with silk suspension and countwheel strike on a bell is signed 'Gavelle Laine', 49cm tall, a/f in various places (e.g. one hand broken off)
