A FINE PAIR OF 19TH ENTURY MEISSEN POT-POURRI VASES AND COVERS with blue crossed swords marks, incised f.25, both with impressed numeral and gilt 16. The domed covers with wreath finial, above a pierced shoulder, the body finely painted with equestrian hunting views after Wouvermann within Laub-und-Bandelwek enriched in iron-red and purple, flanked by female head handles, raised on angular feet and a tripartite base applied with a trailing garland. 24 cm x 17 cm.
