FULL SET SCOTTISH BAGPIPES c.1920s
A full set of ebonised, turned nickel and ivorine mounted Scottish bagpipes in a hardcase bag. These are believed to be from the LAWRIE factory. This lot also comes with an 'R G HARDIE' chanter, a 'J ROBERTSON' chanter, a 'SHEPARD' chanter, a 'G C MACDOUGALL' chanter and another chanter. Also another blowpipe with ivory mounts.
These pipes were once owned by Jack Crichton, the esteemed lead piping instructor at George Heriot’s School

Overall fair condition. various dings and scratches throughout. Base drone is missing some ivorine mount. Nickel showing some corrosion/patina. Needing to be tied in/rebound.
