Old Banking and Customs letters (6), Bank of England letter dated 6th February 1778 signed for the Governor and Company of the Bank of England, Letter dated 1841 D. McAlister Islay banker with Penny Red stamp affixed, Letter dated 1850's with De La Rue embossed at top left and stamp affixed bottom right, Bill for building work to Northampton Union Bank dated 1862 with 1 Penny inland revenue stamp, letter dated 1881 signed J.H. Tritton, Danish Customs document signed at the customs office in Middelfart dated 1868, for some business between Mrs Kerr and Christian Poulsen for a sum of 970.25 Danish Kroner, a huge amount of money for that time.
