A Japanese eggshell porcelain tea service, mid-20th century, comprising a teapot, cream jug, twin handled sucrier, six cups and saucers and six side plates, all painted with figures in a lake landscape with Mount Fuji distant, below an iron red and gilt border, the tea cups with a lithophane portrait of a lady to the base, printed two character mark to base, the teapot 5¾in. (14.5cm.) high. (21)
* Condition: In good condition overall. The sucrier has a large flake from the painted band to the neckrim. No other faults.
