A FIRST WORLD WAR GERMAN BAYONET AND A SIMILAR SECOND WORLD WAR EXAMPLE. A German 1905/16 'Butcher' type bayonet with a 36.5cm pointed blade with broad fuller and slightly swollen tip, marked for '.. & F. Horster Solingen', with back facing quillon and two part wooden grip, 49.5cm overall. And a Second World War K98 bayonet with a 25cm pointed blade with fuller, marked '3043' ad '43 cvl', with two part wooden grip, 38.5cm. (2). *CR Second with operating button, both with some degradation to surfaces.
