A Collection of First World Nursing and similar medals comprising a British Red Cross Society Medal for War Service in box of issue named to D Pasmore, No. 16891, in box of issue, two Red Cross proficiency medals numbers 16891 and 10292 for First Aid and Home Nursing, a Second World War Defence Medal and a Voluntary Medical Service Medal named to Dorothy B. Pasmore, in cardboard box of issue with paperwork. And a collection of Second World War medals to a family member comprising 39-45, Africa and Italy Stars, Defence, and War Medals, in postal box with insert addressed to Miss J.B. Pasmore Norbury Hill, London SW16. A St John Ambulance Association Medallion named to Marjorie Pasmore, and other small badges, photographs etc.
These three sisters were the daughters of Leonard and Emily Pasmore of 15 Hillbury Road, Upper Tooting, a twelve room house with two servants. Dorothy was the oldest being 26 at the time of the 1911 census, Marjorie 24 and Joan 16, all were single. Their brother's medals are included this auction as lot 618.
