CHINESE GU SHAPED VASE - KANGXI STYLE. A Kangxi style Gu shaped vase, with a flared rim and painted with two bands of stiff leaves to the upper and lower sections, the central section painted with various motifs. Unmarked, 19cms high *Provenance, formally owned by Lieutenant Commander Henry Radcliffe James, who lived at Edgeworth Manor near Stroud, and has passed through the family.
Some wear and scratches to the top of rim and inside, some marks and wear around the footrim and side of the base. Small pin hole inside and a small area of glaze loss to the base.
