A fine Japanese Satsuma vase, Meiji period,
of ovoid form, painted to fan shaped reserves with ducks by a lake, the reverse with bijin by a pavilion, on a thousand flower ground, the shoulder floral lappeted and the lower border painted with irises, two character gilt mark to the base,

Minor wear to the gilding, very slight staining to the crackle and the glaze on the inside of the neck otherwise in good condition with no restoration chips or cracks.
