Phipps" franked 1d red tied by "LONDON S.W./S.W./20" duplex with filing note "B. Pal [Buckingham Palace] - May 17 1859 Prin[cess] transfer to Lady C[atherine] Queen's desiring an interview with Lady L. on the subject" (see "Lady Login's Recollections" p. 183), wax seal of "Privy Purse" on flap; beautiful lace edged paper with embossed Royal coat of arms, and similar printed on for the 1867 baptism of Prince Christian at Windsor Castle & 1887 Royal Jubilee Cantata recital at Buckingham Palace; a few letters & envs. headed or with cachets of Royal Households; handkerchiefs commemorating coronations or deaths (6); etchings & colour prints of Windsor Castle/palaces/QV/Prince Albert; photographs of the coronations etc. of KEVII, KGV & KGVI; a few official & unofficial programmes; 9 pay slips (1948-56) from His Majesty's Household for "Miss L.
