Edwardian Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Volunteer Battalion Attributed Officer dirk A very fine circa 1901-1908 example by Wilkinson of London. Polished steel clipped back 30cm blade, etched with crowned EVIIR cypher, HRH Princess Louise's crowned cypher Boar's head crest of the Argyll family and the Mountain Cat of the Sutherlands . Also with etched intials of A.H.M. Bog oak carved grip ornamented with silvered studs (one to reverse absent) and surmounted by silvered pommel bearing a foiled citrine. Scabbard of black patent leather with silvered regimental mounts supporting knife and fork, both ornamented with a matching foiled citrine. Near VGC
