A smokebox numberplate, 62671, from a LNER Class D11/2 4-4-0 No 6378 built by Kitson, Works No 5379, in July 1924 and named BAILIE MacWHEEBLE after a character in Sir Walter Scott's novel Waverley. It was renumbered 2671 in 1946, becoming BR 62671. It spent all its BR days at Eastfield from where it was withdrawn in May 1961 and cut up at Inverurie Works. The front repainted. (Postage Band: D)
