1896-98 Covers to Germany, the first with Germany 20pf pair each cancelled "MATUPI" c.d.s; the 1898 (Mar 9) cover bearing New Guinea 10pf (2) and Germany 20pf tied by "HERBERTSHOHE" datestamps, the first with a large closed tear across the cover clear of the stamps, second with central fold and minor edge faults but an unusual mixed franking.
