Clarice Cliff - Applique Lugano - A large shape 356 Kidney vase circa 1930, hand painted with a stylised landscape scene with a water mill and cottages beneath a blue sky, hand painted Applique and Bizarre mark, height 18cm.
The vase has been professionally restored to the body indicating a hairline crack running from the upper rim into the design between the watermill and the bridge. The interior has been sprayed also to conceal the repair.
The restoration is of a fair standard, though not the highest however in my opinion does not need re-doing.
