A nameplate, CORNUBIA, from a GWR 3252 Duke Class 4-4-0 built at Swindon, Works No 1494, in July 1895 and numbered 3255 when built, later 3254, taking its name from the Roman word for Cornwall. One of the last of the class to survive, finishing its days on former Cambrian Railways lines at Machynllech and Portmadoc from where it was withdrawn in June 1950 and cut up at Swindon Works.
