A VERY FINE MID 19TH CENTURY IRISH SILVER TEA SET BY FREDERICK MANN & SON, the body of each piece exquisitely decorated with scrolling floral blossoms & foliage. The tea pot with a floral finial to the lid. The sugar bowl with scrolling handles draped with acanthus leaves. The jug spout formed by layers of rippling foliage. The workmanship in each piece is really fantastic. Dublin hallmarked, date letter for 1830. Maker’s mark of FM&S. Pot weight: 1040grams. 31 x 20 x 15cm. Sugar bowl: 485grams, 25 x 16 x 12cm. Jug: 370grams, 18 x 13 x 11cm.
