Pair of Indian Mughal School watercolour paintings on ivory of a Maharaja and his wife, both heightened with gilt, each 8.5cm x 6.5cm (oval), unmounted and unframed, one with Japanese style incised seal mark verso. (2). NB: Bidders are responsible for arranging all documents relating to CITES and must comply with the relevant regulations of their destination country. We will not post outside the UK.
Both have small circular marks on front from the punch of the mark verso. Requires a clean as remnants of tape gum to edges. Very slightly undulated (female more so) but paint and gilding good.
