ADMIRAL VON SPEE AND HIS SHIPS by FRANK LAYCOCK FSPH: The book consists of high quality scanned/printed pages from the Camellia collection depicting the postal history of the ships, and their movements and actions, which ultimately led up to the Naval Battles of Coronel and the Falkland Islands at the outset of WWI. Frank Laycock was the Philatelic Curator for Camellia at one time and was involved in the 'find' of the original material which formed the basis of this collection, and also in it's expansion. A privately produced, 266 page, half leather volume with leather spine labels and index. Quite possibly the only copy in existance, and in very fine condition.
