A nameplate, GEORGE DAVIDSON, from a Great North of Scotland Railway 4-4-0 Class F built at Inverurie in June 1921, which became LNER D40 Class No 6845 and was renumbered 2273 in 1946, becoming BR 62273. Its only sheds were Kittybrewster until February 1952 and Keith from where it was withdrawn in January 1955 and cut up at Inverurie Works. One of only eight GNofSR new engines belonging to the Company to carry names, it was named after the Company's General Manager at the time it was built. Cast brass, length 40", the front repainted.
