QANTAS - AN OFFICIAL SURVEY FLIGHT:14 Nov 1948 House of representatives env. signed by Earl, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, carried on the 1st survey flight from Sydney to Johannesburg with uncancelled adhesives as most probably carried in a diplomatic bag. A fine uncancelled vignette on reverse. The contents comprise a letter to the Director of White Horse Distillers mentions among other things a possible inter-parliamentary visit in January next.
