A mid 19th Century French porcelain patchbox, of octagonal form, the lid decorated with a man on a mule with companions on a riverside road, within tooled gilt scroll and laurel wreath border, over Sevres Blue ground, the base with landscape panels within gilt cartouche, the interior with fabric lining, gilt interlaced L and F painted mark to base, width 9.5cm.
