the rectangular seat upholstered in 18th century petit point floral needlework over a plain frieze, on four acanthus-carved cabriole legs ending in claw and ball feet, 54cm x 63.5cm x 39.5cm high
Provenance: The seat rail bears the remains of a label inscribed "Sandford Orcas Manor House"probably indicating the stool was acquired by Hubert Hutchings during his tenure.
