A turquoise and enamelled graduated fringe necklace, North India, probably Jaipur or Delhi, circa 1870, designed to one side as a series of stylised blossoms ‘kundan’ set with turquoises, each motif with seed pearl and enamel bead surmount, the other side decorated with ‘meenakari’ enamelling in red, green, blue and white, all suspending seed pearl set drops, mounted upon a later yellow metal chain with bayonet clasp, overall length 43.5cm, gross weight 62.8gms (at fault)

The red, green, blue and white enamelling has damage to several of the stylized blossom drops, the turquoise settings also have some slight discolouration to a few stones, the bayonet clasp is functioning, the yellow metal is unmarked and has not been tested for gold. Gross weight approx. 62.4gms. Please see additional images.
