5 inch, octagonal barrel. The top flat with traces of maker details. Lower hinged loading rod. Five shot, plain percussion cylinder. Steel, solid top frame and grip frame. Brass trigger guard. Central percussion hammer. Polished wooden slab side grips. Now contained in a refitted period wooden case. Complete with floral decorated, small powder flask, steel bullet mould and "F Joyce" percussion cap tin.
