A Dutch carved cedar diorama by Cornelis Bavelaar [1747-1830]: depicting a finely detailed view of the centre of the village of T'Dorp Baere with the church, inn and houses around the square together with a horse and cart and other figures outside the inn, a man leading a sheep in the foreground, in glazed case inscribed on the reverse 'T'Dorp Baere no.1380', 16 x 26 cm overall. *Note Both father [1747-1830] and son [1777-1831] were named Cornelis and made dioramas in Leiden, Holland.
