A worksplate, No 2132, Darlington, 1950, from a (LMS) Class 4 2-6-0 No 43090 allocated new to South Lynn where it spent nearly ten years working on the Midland & Great Northern route before moving to Kings Lynn and later March, Grantham and Staveley Barrow Hill from where it was withdrawn in April 1965 and sold for scrap to Cashmores at Great Bridge. Engraved brass, 12¼"x6¼", the front lightly polished, the back stamped 43090. (Postage Band: C)
