A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN JAR AND COVER, 18/19TH CENTURY. Of baluster form decorated with scene from Romance of the Western Chamber, Xi Xang Ji. The cover decorated with four boys at play. Double ring mark to base. 44cm tall.
Three shallow chips to underside of foot. Section of repair to rim with hairline. Chip loss to edge of cover.
