Christopher Dresser for Linthorpe Art Pottery (1834-1904), circa 1885, a jardiniere, shoulder-mounted with two shell-like appendages, with horizontal stylised banding, green glaze, impressed 'LINTHORPE' and '2285' marks (cracked) Condition:Crack to the lower portion of the body - it looks like something has dropped inside and caused an impact mark with radiating damage outwards in the form of cracks. This is most noticeable to the interior but also slightly visible to the exterior. It still displays nicely.
