W L Ridgewell (b.1885-d.1938) original pen and ink golf cartoon c1930s - signed Ridgewell complete with handwritten annotation with the title "What our outer suburbs have to put with" - 10.5 x 14" mf&g overall 15.25x 19" Note - Ridgewell spent 1914-18 war in the Army in India designing recruiting posters contributing to humorous magazines like Indian Ink. He 1st contributed to Punch in 1920 and continued until 1937 he also contributed to London Opinion and the Humourist. Note: Part Four - Golf Collection from "David Easby Estate"
