A smokebox numberplate, 42134, from a (LMS) Class 4 2-6-4T built at Derby and allocated new on 17 January 1950 to St Albans where it remained for ten years before moving to Cricklewood and later Neasden, Heaton Mersey, Barrow and finally Tebay where it was used as a Shap banking loco. Withdrawn from Tebay in the week ending 1 April 1967, it was sold to Motherwell Machinery & Scrap at Wishaw. Ex loco condition. (Postage Band: D)
