EPHEMERA, a small collection of Historical Correspondence from people in Politics and the Arts, the archive comprises of a copy of a letter written by Horatio Nelson to his Flag Captain and friend Captain Samual Sutton in 1801 although the evidence of the copy is determined by the papers watermark which is dated to 1825 and a copy of an unfinished letter to Emma Hamilton dated October 19th 1805, the second archive from 1837 includes a letter from Mary Sabilla Novello (Mother of Clara Anastasia one of the great Soprano's of the early 19th Century) accepting an engagement in Edinburgh on her daughters behalf, the third archive from 1876 comprises of a letter written by Charlotte Eliza Lawson Riddell, Irish novelist 1832-1906, the fourth archive is a 'Thank You' letter written in 1892 by Antonio Carlo Napoleone Gallenga aka Louis Mariotti, author, adventurer and novelist, the fourth archive from 1883 is a letter from Basil Wilberforce (Grandson of William Wilberforce the great reformer), the remaining archives comprise a 'Beaconsfield' signature (Benjamin Disraeli) from 1877, a signed letter from William Gladstone to Sir Edward Watkin at the house of Commons in 1883 relating to a discussion on a 'Tunnel under the Channel' and finally a signed 'Thank You' letter by Winston Churchill, it is likely that this is one of the several thousands produced at the time as the letter is non specific
