A large oil painting on canvas of Longton Hall (Staffordshire), painted from Park Hall, showing Hanley in the background. Various members on both sides of the families of the current vendors have lived at Longton Hall over time. Though unsigned, the work is certainly redolent of the work of Henry Lark Pratt, but no firm attribution is made in this respect. Late 18th/early 19th century, this measures 79cm x 135cm excluding frame.
