An interesting rosewood trinket box, believed to be the former property of Queen Victoria. The top and front of box with brass inlay and cover with ornate brass central cartouche engraved ‘HRH Alexandrina Victoria May 24th 1836’, with mother of pearl surround. Cover enclosing compartmented interior. Together with a monochrome photograph of who is believed to been the former owner of the box, Katrina Harris, a former employee at Kensington palace and her white metal and enamel brooch with crowned VR cypher. Box measures 21.5cm long.
