Early 20th Century Austrian Artillery Shako
black felt body with black patent leather crown and lower band. Black patent peak with gilt embroidery eagle line. Top of body with gilt, zig zag decorated braid. Gilt lion mask side mounts supporting the gilt chain chinstrap. Front, gilt Austrian eagle badge. Black horsehair plume. Gilt embroidery rosette. Red silk lining with maker's details. Leather sweatband and peak loose.
