A 19th century French micro mosaic topped gold mounted tortoiseshell snuff box, of rectangular form, the lid inset with a view of the Spanish Steps, Rome, gold lining with maker's stamp LB, hallmarked for Paris 1809-19, 8.5 x 6.25cm, 2.5cm high

Right hand side of the lid is pulling away and the top edge of the lid is also slightly springing otherwise rather dirty, two small chips to the lower back of the base, slight scratching to the interior.
