Zoomorphic Belt Fitting. Circa 15th century AD. Copper-alloy, 64mm x 33mm, 28.2g. A sword belt hanger detailed with a stylised animal head at the hook end. The outer face of the loop has a shield shaped moulded decoration displaying a cross. Complete and in a fine state of preservation. Ref: Read 2008: 214-215.
