More About the Artist:
Gallery was born in Lurgan, Co. Armagh he started his working life as a butcher and only began painting in the late 1970s. In 1980 he moved to the west of Ireland settling near Clifden where he worked from his own studio. His works were created typically en plein air in and around the area of Clifden, Roundstone and the Connemara area in general. He was represented by the Lavelle Art Gallery in Galway and Cambridge Fine Arts, and the Waldock Gallery in Dublin. His works are held in both private and public collections and he exhibited locally and internationally during his career.
