Walnut chest on stand, early 18th Century and later, the top with moulded cornice over three short and three long graduating drawers, all featherbanded and with later shaped brass handles and escutcheons, over a stand fitted with one long deep drawer and three small drawers, similarly furnished, raised on later shell carved cabriole legs with claw and ball feet, width 109cm, height 172cm

On the face of the piece there are sections of missing moulding between the drawers. There is missing veneer to the front right corner of the upper chest. The handles and escutcheons are probable replacements. The legs are later. A section of veneer is missing on the back right edge of the upper chest. There is a loss to the moulding on the right hand cornice. Good colour throughout.
