A photograph album belonging to Thomas Bryan Clarke Thornhill, 20th century, containing various monochrome photographs dating from 1912 to 1922, depicting military figures including Lieutenant Colonel Herbert Francis George Carter MC, Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, Temporary CO of the 15th Battalion, Leeds Pals (which sustained heavy casualties on the first day of the Somme) addressing a crowd from the back of a tank, and other military figures in social situations to include weddings, family occasions etc, with further photographs of country houses and interiors, and a selection of book plates, embossed T.B.C.T.V to cover, the album 29.5cm H x 23.5cm W (at fault)
