A fabulous original oil on canvas painting titled "Dollymount Strand" by the listed Irish artist Marcel Lindsay, showing a coastal view of the titular bay in rich golds and royal blues. Signed bottom right and dated to 2020. Nicely housed in a complementary grey frame.
Lindsay (b.1968), is a Dublin born artist who took up painting in 2018 following a holiday to West Cork. Working primarily in acrylic and pen, his paintings powerfully capture the mood and colour of the sea, allowing the Dublin coastline to feed the narrative of his work.
