A Neapolitan Stridente mandolin, late 19th/early 20th century. With a rosewood back, parquetry inlaid with a variety of woods throughout incorporating mother of pearl and bone sections. Bears internal printed label inscribed ’Stridente Fabrica Di Mandolini Via Antonio 22 Napoli’. 60 cm length. Condition report: Some wear with age.
