A George IV Scottish silver cream jug and sugar basin by Charles Bendy, Edinburgh 1822, with leaf-capped scroll handles, flower and scroll chased rims, gadrooned compressed bodies centred by reserves, on pedestal bases, the interiors gilt, engraved with a crest, a motto Manent Optima Coelo and initials TM, the basin 21.5cm (8 1/2in) across handles, 771g (24.8 oz) The crest and motto for Miller.
