An uncut and unmounted 19th century fan leaf, French, printed in black and grey and hand coloured in shades of blue, depicting a rural lake, likely at the edge of a grand estate as formal stone steps lead to the water, where a canopied boat has been prepared for refreshments and music, the peace of which is soon to be shattered by a hunter in the bushes about to aim his gun at unsuspecting ducks, signed Eug. André, beneath which is printed “Lith de Guerrier”; together with a second panel, a central engraving of a solitary lady, on a tiny island, with face and hands touched with pink, unsigned, the lower section painted boldly to represent land, a sunset behind (2)
