A worksplate, GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY, 798, DONCASTER, 1898, from a GNR Class D1 4-4-0 No 1332, which became LNER D2 Class No 4332 and was renumbered 2160 in 1946. It was allotted the BR number 62160 but was withdrawn from Hitchin on 16 October 1948 without this number being applied and is believed to have been scrapped at Doncaster Works. Cast brass, 12¼"x7¼", cleaned and the front repainted. (Postage Band: C)
