Great Britain: Wakefield Golf House Company Limited, £10 shares, 189[7], #26, black. Registered 1897 to build the clubhouse on the common for the Wakefield Golf Club which had been formed as a 9 hole course in 1891. The club moved in 1910 to land owned by Sir Thomas Pilkington so that an 18 hole course could be developed. Dissenting members stayed playing on the common and formed Heath Golf Club which lasted until the 1930's. The clubhouse is now a private residence. VF and rare.
