Original antique map of Peru - Description of the islands of the Estuaries / Descriptio insularum Aestiuarurum from Mercator/Hondius Atlas Minor. This hand coloured map details regions and natural landmarks such as mountains, rivers and lakes. Title appears in an ornate illustrated frame as well as a blue and red decorative compass. The reverse side has a description of the islands of the estuaries written in Latin. Good condition, staining, creasing, small tears, paper loss on bottom right corner, browning, double sided.
